Rachel Blackhurst, ACMHC-I

Rachel is a dedicated mental health counseling intern who enjoys helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges and improve their emotional well-being. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other emotional challenges, striving to create a safe environment where they can build self-awareness, develop resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting growth. Rachel has experience supporting individuals with a wide range of disabilities as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. She primarily draws from Gestalt Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Originally from rural Nebraska, Rachel has experienced firsthand the personal growth that comes from adapting to new environments and embracing change. These experiences have strengthened her appreciation for the courage it takes to navigate life's transitions and build meaningful connections, allowing her to bring empathy and understanding to immigrants as they navigate the emotional and practical challenges of building a new life.

Rachel is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Utah State University and earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University. She is fluent in Portuguese and familiar with both Portuguese and Brazilian cultures.

Outside of counseling, Rachel enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, reconnecting with long-distance friends, and treating game nights as a competitive sport.

Fernando Gadelha, ACMHC

Fernando Gadelha is a compassionate mental health therapist providing online therapy to teens and adults across Utah. With a calm and supportive presence, Fernando creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions and life experiences.

He works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, pornography-related struggles, relationship challenges, life transitions, and ADHD. Fernando has a special focus on supporting immigrants adjusting to a new culture and members of the LGBTQ+ community, helping clients navigate identity-related stressors.

Fernando uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to help clients process difficult memories, manage stress, and build emotional resilience. He is also fluent in Portuguese and familiar with the Hispanic culture.

Whether you are working through past experiences or seeking greater balance in your daily life, Fernando meets you where you are and walks alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

Natasha Carroll, LCSW

Natasha Carroll is a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional who specializes in supporting individuals and couples on their journey toward greater emotional well-being and stronger relationships. She helps clients gain deeper self-awareness, process difficult emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies that meet their unique needs.

Natasha has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, infertility, betrayal trauma, pornography-related struggles, and marital issues. She draws from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and The Gottman Method. She is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused modality designed to help clients resolve distressing memories and experiences. Her approach ensures care that is both personalized and effective.

Fluent in Portuguese and well-versed in Hispanic culture, Natasha is committed to providing culturally sensitive support to a diverse group of clients. Her goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where growth and healing can truly happen.
